A hot tub is a large home-made or manufactured tub or small pool full of heated water and used for soaking, relaxation, massage, or hydrotherapy. In most cases, they have jets for massage purposes.
Finnish sauna:
Prevention and curing at once. Regular using of sauna is an exteremely pleasant method of keppeing our health and condition fit. The cold shock response after intensive sweating strengthens the immune system. Sauna may provide some relief to patients with asthma and chronic bronchitis, and may also alleviate pain and improve joint mobility in patients with rheumatic disease. The sauna is the place of physical and psyhical relaxation, spend enough time on it which is at least 2 hours. The duration of a sauna is a 8-12 minute staying inside and a 5-10 minute cooling. Avoid high temperature and/or long time sauna if you have cardiovascular of blood circulation problems. The last shower always should be with hot water, not to let the pores to contract because it can cause a bad prosweating.
The sauna does not cause drying of the skin, and may even benefit patients with psoriasis, although sweating may increase itching in patients with atopic dermatitis. Sauna is safe, however, for most people with stable coronary heart disease. It is not harmful to the aged or young even infants over 3 months in moderation and does not affect wound healing.
Infrared sauna:
The infrared heat is widely used and avowed by doctors for over years now. Infrared radiation is the natural thermal radiation of the sun innocuously heating the upper layers of the skin. This engergy - due to the natural conduction of the tissues - passes through to the deeper layers of the skin, where the flowing of the blood transmits and spreads it in the whole body, exposing its healing and beneficent effect. During the using of the Infrared sauna, the infrared rays penetrate into the depth of the body heating it from inside. He infra radiation heatens directly the tissues, without lading the body. After spending 30 minutes in the infrea cabin the fat lossing processes in the body starts to function. Infrared sauna promoters state that infrared radiant heat is safe and beneficial, claiming that the heat penetrates more than 1.5 inches (40 mm) into the body. The argument is based on the idea that the wavelengths of far infrared waves are typically between 5.8 and 1000 micrometers. This is supposed to correspond to the vibration of the water molecule at 9.4 micrometers. Because these vibrations are similar, say promoters, the infrared rays help knock toxins loose from fat cells into the body, and those toxins are then released through sweating. They claim this heals and stimulates tissues, and that it is effective therapy for arthritis and tissue injuries.
Steam bath
It makes the skin silky.
Its temperature is: 50-55 °C,
Humidity: 70-100 %. (sometimes above)
It can be used to treat asthma, reuma, hoarseness, mucle pains and some circulation faliures.
A steam room is a high humidity chamber, usually found in health clubs and leisure facilities. Not unlike a sauna in that it induces sweating, but with entirely different atmospheric conditions, the steam bath not only relaxes you and renews your energy, but also promotes your health and beauty as well. It is operating most effectively at temperatures of between 43C(110F) and 46C(116F) and a relative humidity above 100 %. In a steam bath, steam (or to be more scientifically correct, MIST) should be permanently present. The benefits of such rooms are theoretic at best, though commonly used to 'purge' skin pores of toxins, improve sinuses, and relax the user. Steam rooms are sometimes used in conjunction with a sauna, thereby permitting users to alternate between a dry and wet heat.
Massage
The massage if one of the most ancient and most pleasant method of preventing illnesses, to cure and to keep the body fit. During the massage therapy it is essential to enhance the blood circulation which makes the absorption of the sediments to speed up, plus the amount of deposited fat decreases. The tensions and bindings in the connecting tissues disappear. Massage involves acting and manipulating the patient's body with pressure (structured, unstructured, stationary, and/or moving), tension, motion, or vibration done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, and/or organs of the gastrointestinal system. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, forearm, and feet. There are over eighty different massage modalities. The most cited reasons for introducing massage was patient demand and perceived clinical effectiveness. Peer-reviewed medical research has shown that the benefits of massage include pain relief, reduced trait anxiety and depression, and temporarily reduced blood pressure, heart rate, and state anxiety. Theories behind what massage might do include blocking nociception (gate control theory), activating the parasympathetic nervous system which may stimulate the release of endorphins and serotonin, preventing fibrosis or scar tissue, increasing the flow of lymph, and improving sleep but such effects are yet to be supported by well designed clinical studies.
Fitness room:
Cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical trainer, stationary bike, rowing machine, gymnastics foam,fitt-ball,dumbbells) are available for your daily workout.
Solarium:
A solarium or sunbed is a device emitting ultraviolet radiation (typically 95%
UVA and 5% UVB, +/-3%) used to produce a cosmetic tan. Regular solariums use
several fluorescent lamps that have phosphor blends designed to emit UV in a
spectrum that is somewhat similar to the sun. Exposure to UVB[23] light in the
295 nm to 297 nm spectra (regardless of source) leads to production of vitamin
D in the skin. Vitamin D is important for a number of human functions, including
the maintenance of normal blood levels of phosphorus and calcium and the promotion
of healthy bones.
